People walking everywhere
ever on the go
breaking hearts, encased in stone
no one will ever know

People smiling everywhere
putting on a show
"how you doing?" "looks like rain"
never talk about the pain

Talk of things that only mask
the longings deep inside
smile and sing - do anything
just make sure you hide
