Our Saviour's Love

Love is hard to understand
The dying love 
Of God to man

Who made us a creature
To pour his love unto
Yet gave us the freedom
To do what we wanted to

To reject, to hate
We spit in his face
Yet in his love her cried
"Forgiveness"
And opened his arms unto us

Love is strong
It keeps on in the face of rejection
Even as it feeds
As it cries its need for a love returned

All other loves 
Seem to wither
As we look into the face
Of our Saviour
